Out Of Character Timings
On this page you'll find information on out of character timing information - when the games are, how seasons/episodes work, and what you can expect from individual games.
Each game may have some slight alterations to the standard timings laid out here, but these will be communicated to players at the time.
Seasons? Episodes?
You may have seen mentions of 'seasons' and 'episodes' on other parts of the site.
This is a way to split the game up, to allow for certain roles to become available to other players, or to give people a timeframe for character arcs (if they want it), as well as allow for any over-arching plots (if they occur) to have a defined timescale.

An 'Episode' is a single event weekend, and a 'season' consists of six episodes - so, after six games there will be a new season.
How many and when?
Events will be 1-2 times a year, this may consist of one or two main events, or one main event and a smaller social-style event

If there is only one event in a year, it will usually be run July/August time.
If there are two main events in a year, these will be in May/June and September/October
One main and one social will be on a similar timescale, but with the social game potentially being earlier or later in the year

This is proposed scheduling as the game is still quite new, as the game continues it is likely that the dates will become more consistent as we find what works best for players.
